HMG Company and Mr. Trinh Ho Tan Support Flood-Hit Border Areas in Quang Nam

In response to the complex developments of heavy rains and floods causing severe landslides and severing traffic links in the border region of Quang Nam province, the staff of HMG Company and Mr. Trinh Ho Tan (personally) have coordinated with the Border Guard forces to organize emergency food supplies for local residents. The total volume of support in this campaign is 10 tons of rice.

Traffic Paralysis and Isolated Communities

Over the past few days, prolonged heavy rains have severely impacted the terrain in Nam Giang District (Quang Nam Province). In particular, the sole road leading to the border commune of La Êê has suffered from multiple serious rock and soil landslides. Thick mud has covered the roads, making them impassable for standard motor vehicles. This situation has led to the localized isolation of many residential areas, creating an imminent risk of local food shortages.

Facing this urgent situation, social welfare and support to stabilize the lives of people in the border region have become the top priority.

Deploying Emergency Relief Operations

With a spirit of social responsibility and rapid response to natural disasters, the collective staff of HMG Company and Mr. Trinh Ho Tan mobilized resources to prepare 10 tons of rice (with a value equivalent to 140,000,000 VND) to carry out relief efforts across two phases.

To ensure goods reach the hands of people in landslide "hotspots," the HMG delegation coordinated closely with the La Êê Border Guard Station and the Command of the Da Nang City Border Guard. This coordination aims to ensure the safety of the relief team as well as the efficiency and accuracy of distributing resources to those most in need.

Overcoming Landslides to Deliver 5 Tons of Rice to La Êê

Reports from the field during the donation drive in La Êê Commune indicate that access conditions were extremely difficult. The convoy's trucks were forced to stop at landslide points due to slippery roads and debris blocking the way.

The truck stopped on the muddy red dirt road.

Facing geographical barriers, a manual transport plan was activated. Border guard soldiers directly carried each bag of rice on their shoulders, wading through mud and crossing landslide areas to reach the assembly point.

In this phase, 5 tons of rice were directly handed over to 250 households facing difficult circumstances and direct impact from the disaster in La Êê Commune. This is an essential food source to ensure local food security for residents while waiting for traffic routes to be restored.

Commitment to Accompanying the Community

This relief activity by HMG Company and Mr. Trinh Ho Tan carries not only material significance but also demonstrates the enterprise's strong commitment to accompanying local authorities in solving urgent social welfare issues.

The presence of the relief team at disaster hotspots and the seamless coordination between the business sector and the armed forces have contributed to strengthening trust, helping the people of the border region stay resilient through this difficult period.
