Oktoberfest in Munich Germany is known as one of the biggest beer festivals in the world, held annually starting from mid- or late-September to the end of the first week of October.

To respond to that festival, HMG organized the Bonanza Beer Fest on October 17, 2023. Bonanza Beer Fest is not only the first beer festival taking place at the HMG warehouse but also an opportunity to interact and have direct conversations with the four biggest suppliers that HMG exclusively represents, including BarthHaas Group, Crispmalt, Invivo Soufflet, and Castle Malting as well as our loyal customers during the past years.

Let’s recap the outstanding events and memorable moments of that day.

Embodying the hospitality of Vietnamese tradition, our dear customers were welcomed with meaningful gifts as soon as they entered the gate.

The seminar began with enthusiastic sharing from Mr. Lennart (a representative of BarthHaas) about Hop Session. Through this seminar, brewers can gain and receive a wealth of practical knowledge that can be applied to their productions. More specifically, locating desired goods that support the brewing of beer at a high level of efficiency. You can also freely discuss questions related to the product as well as the effectiveness of the product in brewing. All inquiries will be answered by prominent technical consultants.

Interspersed with the hop session was a tea break enjoyed with beer that HMG has collaborated with six breweries including East West, Rooster, Pasteur Street, Hoprizon, Five Elements Beer, and Overmorrow. Each type of beer is a new experience in terms of flavor and aroma, and this is also the result of the beautiful memories between MHG and six breweries stretching from North to South.

Following the program, our customers participated in three extremely interesting games: the drinking relay, the endurance challenge, and the first time ever of Asia hop-picking contest. Along with that were practical and meaningful gifts such as bags of barley, bags of hop pellet, and spectrum.

The HMG nighttime party was a convergence of Vietnamese specialties. This was also the time to introduce the elite of Vietnamese cuisine to friends from all over the world. Most special is the hop ice cream made from hops with a special flavor and aroma, which can also be considered the first appearance in Vietnam of our own team idea.

The hop session ended with eye-catching music and performances imbued with festive as well as German traditions.

Last but not least, HMG would like to express our gratitude to the attendees of the Bonanza Beer Fest from breweries all across Vietnam, as well as the four leading suppliers. Additionally, HMG hopes that our customers had an enjoyable and fascinating evening as well as a memorable festival.
