Cascade


Cascade helped pioneer the modern pale ale, walking so that popular IPA hops like Citra could run. Bred from Fuggles and Serebrianker, Cascade was developed in the USA for a breeding program in Oregon and released in 1972. Thanks to its high levels of myrcene, they have an intense citrussy flavor that goes down easy.
Alpha acid: 4.5-7.9%
Aroma profile: Pink Grapefruit combined with passion fruit, mango and currants show Cascade with an Australian complexity.
