Amarillo®

Amarillo® was bred at Virgil Gamache Farms inc and released in 2003. The name Amarillo is spanish and means yellow.
Alpha acid: 6.7-11%
Aroma profile: The predominant aromas of this cultivar are fruity, strong ones, such as apricot, peach, ripe banana and honeydew melon, which give it a uniquely sweet flavor. Tart notes of grapefruit and lime form an interesting contrast, thus creating an appealing combination.
